Tate Britain - Remembering a Brave New World

The partner and I decided to take a walk to the Tate Britain exhibition on Saturday night and we both agreed it was the most exciting night we’ve had since February 2020… When we were both undergrads in Brighton we used to get very very very drunk and get a train up to London to wonder around the galleries and museums for the day, pretending to be pretentious and probably being a general annoyance to the public.

I have to say I very much miss doing this (the art part not the alcohol!) so this was a lovely reprieve from chess and a prosecco (ok, some booze is welcome!) in front of the telly that has become our most recent lockdown Saturday routine.

The aim for me was to take some photos of my book for another post and we got so cold I forgot to take closer pictures without me and the book in them. However, it was so stunning that it still deserves its own post!

(I have included a photo of an explanation by the artist who is far more capable than I at putting into words this marvellous curation).
